Our story
From Pioupiou's kitchen to Galeries Lafayette
She may not yet know what she started. Pioupiou, 92 years old, mother of five, former employee of the Maison des Plantes in Brussels and avid reader of five books a week, came up with a little recipe in her kitchen more than sixty years ago.
A recipe created just for her, out of necessity: no time, no money to maintain her blonde at the salon. So she found another way. Drawing on her botanical knowledge and her passion for reading, she developed a 95% natural formula, effective in five minutes from your own bathroom.

1960s
The Pioupiou recipe
Brussels. Pioupiou juggles between the Maison des Plantes, her five kids and making ends meet. Her blonde is fading. No way she's spending hours at the hairdresser. So she reads, she observes, she experiments. She develops a natural formula that works in 5 minutes.
90s-2000s
The secret is passed on
The recipe passes from Pioupiou to her daughter, then to her granddaughter Zoé, around age 12-13. A family ritual, discreet and precious, passed down in silence from generation to generation.
2020
Zoé leaves law to launch OMAD'S
In her final year of law school, Zoé decides to bring her grandmother's recipe to market. The response is immediate. She drops out, reinvests the first earnings, and launches OMAD'S, a brand created exclusively for Blondies.
2022
The spray goes viral
Word of mouth is exploding. The Lightening Spray, directly inspired by the original recipe, wins over thousands of Blondies. Rated 100/100 on Yuka, 95% natural, made in the family lab in Belgium.
