My name is Zoé and I'm the founder of Omaday's.
Let me tell you our story, a story that began with a recipe inspired by my grandmother and today is driven by our passion for radiant, sun-kissed hair, whatever its color, type or nature.
1954
The creator of the formula
My grandmother, nicknamed Pioupiou, was infatuated with the same wish I would later have: to rediscover the wonderful blond hair of my youth.
Only this...
As a mother of 5, she had neither the time nor the means to go to the hairdresser, and wished above all to avoid highly chemical treatments.
So she decided to create her own homemade skincare inspired by her reading and her passion for botany.
Thus was born the original formula for Omad's Lightening Spray which she would keep to herself for +60 years.
2015
Transmission
At the age of 15, I regret seeing my beautiful blond hair getting a little duller every year.
During the summer, my grandmother decides to dig out her botany notebooks and reveals to me her homemade recipe based on Roman chamomile and blueberry flowers, which she used back in the day to bring sun-kissed highlights to her hair.
She doesn't know it yet, but she has just given me a priceless gift: the foundation stone of my entrepreneurial adventure.
2021
The launch of Pioupiou By Blondie, now Omad's
To finance part of my law studies, I have this crazy idea of selling the brightening serum I use all year round to other students.
The first customers go crazy for it and spread the word around. Before long, I find myself making new bottles in the evenings and delivering them at weekends. I can't believe it!"
My darling then encourages me to go professional, to set up a business, and to think big. I've made up my mind... I'm giving up my studies to devote myself fully to my business.
When dreams become reality
After +2 years of hard work, Omad's has conquered the hearts of +36,000 women and is now made up of a team of 8 people who work every day to offer you the best lightening care on the market.
This success story is first and foremost that of my incredible grandmother and her oh-so-effective lightening recipe.
So when we had to part with the name Piou Piou by Bondlie, I couldn't help but give her another nod by choosing the brand name Omad's (pronounced Omaday's) which means "grandma's day 👵🏻".
