From Pioupiou's kitchen to Galeries Lafayette
She may not yet know what she triggered. Pioupiou, 92 years old, mother of five children, former employee of the Maison des Plantes in Brussels and avid reader of five books a week, concocted a little recipe in her kitchen more than sixty years ago.
A recipe for her alone, out of necessity: neither the time nor the money to maintain her blond hair at the hairdresser. So she found another way. Between her botanical knowledge and her passion for reading, she developed a 95% natural formula, effective in five minutes from her bathroom.

1960s
Pioupiou's recipe
Brussels. Pioupiou juggles between the Maison des Plantes, her five children and making ends meet. His blonde darkens. No question of spending hours at the hairdresser. So she reads, she observes, she experiments. She develops an effective natural formula in 5 minutes.
90s-2000s
The secret is passed on
The recipe passes from Pioupiou to her daughter, then to her granddaughter Zoé, around the age of 12-13. A family ritual, discreet and precious, passed down silently from generation to generation.
2020
Zoé leaves law to launch OMAD'S
In her final year of law school, Zoé decides to market her grandmother's recipe. The enthusiasm is immediate. She abandoned her diploma, reinvested the first income and launched OMAD'S, a brand dedicated exclusively to blondes.
2022
The spray goes viral
Word of mouth explodes. The Lightening Spray, directly inspired by the original recipe, convinces thousands of Blondies. Rated 100/100 on Yuka, 95% natural, made in the family lab in Belgium.
